Who we are looking for An Application Deliver Engineer, who will contribute to the design, installation, upgrading and maintenance of multiple platforms to support the Business.
You will support a number of different technologies and systems. Initially focussing on the various workplace IT systems that underpin our working environment, you will be involved in the support and development of various platforms. This role will help you to gain a good understanding and knowledge of the systems managed by the team, from CCTV and door entry systems through to group policy. You will also manage software testing environments, secure password storage and the auditing and monitoring of solutions.
Utilising the latest technologies and best practices, you will be responsible for provisioning high quality systems and applications. Working as part of an established team, you will take on and understand new challenges, while working with others to support our worldwide user base to a high standard.
This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.
Preferred skills and experience
Willingness to learn, with an open and positive attitude.
Experience of supporting, managing and maintaining a wide variety of systems.
Experience of troubleshooting issues and working through to resolution.
Demonstrable experience of working in a service-led environment.
Knowledge of door entry systems, CCTV and thermal cameras is desirable.
Experience of incident management tools, such as Remedy and Helix.
Experience of change management practices.
Knowledge of project methodology, creating plans and working towards deadlines.
Main Responsibilities
Managing and maintaining all Application Delivery platforms and services.
Supporting and monitoring highly available systems and infrastructure.
Working with internal teams to specify, install and deliver systems.
Resolving BAU issues for a varied customer base.
Creating and maintaining supporting documentation to a high standard.
Ensuring the correct monitoring and maintenance processes are in place.
Working with other team members to deliver work in a timely and effective manner.
Liaising with Third parties to validate new and existing changes, escalating issues and remediate potential problems where necessary.
