Electrical Supervisor

Electrical Supervisor required for an international role working with our International Construction Team, visiting sites across the world. Please note, due to strict Customer Contract constraints, security clearances will be required in order to secure the role. (UK SC clearance) Duties: Responsible for the installation, commissioning and testing of electrical installations to the latest edition of British Standards in accordance with BS 7671. Conduct electrical test and verification of minor works and will complete all the required paperwork Work with the managing team and PM's to design, price, organise and monitor all electrical biased Minor Works. Responsible for the accurate procurement of all electrical materials for all electrical minor works, will delegate to electricians (expat) where necessary but will ensure the work is still completed accurately and in a timely manner. Ensure all materials delivered to the project site to meet program dates and specification requirements. Will be CompEx trained and experienced and will act as the CompEx supervisor for all works in an explosive environment Create risk assessments and method statements as required and will ensure that all staff have read, understood, and signed the documentation. Responsible for the safety and welfare of the general public, staff and sub contractor employees alongside G3 site delivery team. Ensure PPE is being correctly worn relevant to the company's policy and sub-contractors RAMs Working safely, stopping work if unsafe and speaking up to address any safety concerns Participate in safety initiatives Qualifications Required: BS 18th Ed Electrical installation and testing City and Guilds 2394 & 2395 Inspection and Test CSCS Card, Safety Passport, or equivalent qualification CompEx 1-4 Fire Installation and commissioning course (Desirable) Lightening protection course (BSEN 62305-3&4) (Desirable) Experience required: Installation of Domestic and industrial electrical installations to British Standards Full Working Knowledge of BS:7671 Knowledge of Fire Alarm systems and Emergency Lighting Installations Running and team of electricians on either a large single project or over a program of minor works.
