Junior Project Engineer

Sterling Recruitment Services are delighted to be assisting our client for their search of a Junior Project Engineer. Key requirements for the role: Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification ideally in Mechanical, Process, Automation or Manufacturing. Clear ability to use various packages such as: MS Project Solid Words AutoCAD FEA software Enthusiastic and flexible. Hungry to learn and develop within both the role and organisation. Excellent interpersonal skills and organisation skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Good analysis, judgement and problem solving skills along with the ability to input effectively decision making with the team. Key duties of the role: Assist project managers and project engineers on preparing customer quotes and designs. Assisting project engineers with producing drawings for fabrication. Assisting the Workshop Supervisor with various engineering tasks. Attend client meetings, site walk rounds and design reviews with the Project Manager and Engineers. Review and produce drawings to client specifications. Review and product take-offs for tenders and live projects. Meeting deadlines for delivery of drawings in support of projects Provide input to the development and progression of innovative proposals and solutions for clients. Working hours: Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4pm, early finish Friday This is an office based roles. Salary depending one experience 21 days paid annual leave + bank holidays
