Ciphr has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineering Tech Lead to join the team as we grow and develop.
Your role will be a hands-on development position and you will work across the entire tech stack, designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications as well as refining user requirements and acceptance criteria into concise technical documentation.

Location:
The role is remote within the UK but will require occasional travel for meetings and customer visits.
The daily tasks will include, but not limited to:
Provide technical direction and leadership.
Design and develop complex applications.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
Follow secure development practices.
Maintain a high coverage of automated and manual tests.
Develop and maintain technical documentation.
Perform code reviews and provide feedback for the entire development process.
Interact with customers where appropriate.
Work on both new developments and product maintenance
We would like you to have the following skills:
Extensive experience developing applications as a full stack engineer.
In depth knowledge of the technical stack (AWS inc. ECS; RDS; SQS; Elasticache, plus Python, React, Terraform) used within the products and a good knowledge of other modern stacks.
Vast understanding of software design patterns and principles.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Superb communication and teamwork skills.
The ability to work independently and take ownership of work.
Keen problem-solving skills and an eye for detail.
