Setting Out Engineer

Setting out Engineer Based in Bedford 3 – 4 month contract £300 – 350 per day We have a fantastic opportunity for a Limited Company contractor on a contract basis. They are looking for someone who is available to start immediately and have their own kit to supply. It will be working on a building project looking after the foundation works. RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure all permits ready for site work to commence Ensure the Inspection and Test Plans, and Quality Check Sheets are completed as soon as the checks can be completed Setting out and surveying Manage distribution of information Write and approve method statements and risk assessments and ensure they are being followed throughout the works Liaising with the client and other key stakeholders Checking design drawings and reporting any issues or inconsistencies Liaise with other Sections to ensure a smooth flow of work. Regularly review procedures to ensure they are as efficient as possible. REQUIREMENTS: Setting out foundations experience Check foundations Able to provide own equipment CSCS card NVQ Level 4 or above Line and level survey experience Able to produce QA reports, completing engineering documentation Water experience preferred.
