Fire Alarm Engineer

Nelson Permanent Placements are proud to be working with the compliance division of a nationwide provider of building engineering services including electrical, fire, air conditioning and commercial gas safety inspection, testing & certification services. Due to growth within the company our client is now looking for Fire Alarm Engineers to join their team on a permanent basis around Southampton. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer is vital in making sure our the customers are safe whether you’re delivering a service to one of our local clients, or traveling further afield, you’ll be the face of the company, meeting different people with different requirement on a regular basis. Locations: * Southampton – within 30 miles Responsibilities: * Working on different types of fire alarm systems, such as conventional, bi-wire and addressable systems. * Visiting commercial properties such as banks, schools, retail outlets to complete services to our customers. Requirements: * A good level of IT literacy * Full UK manual Driving License for a minimum of 12 months (Subject to insurance requirements), with a maximum of 6 points. * The flexibility to work 40 hours per week, including evening/night shifts to support our customers’ requirements. * An understanding of Health and Safety Regulations within the workplace.
