Engineering Technician
Location: Hybrid working, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:30pm
Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum
Are you an innovative engineer with a passion for prototyping, testing, and development? We are looking for an Engineering Technician to manage our engineering lab, support prototype assembly, and assist in product development. If you re hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced in cable harnessing and rapid prototyping, this role could be perfect for you.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage lab areas and stores, ensuring equipment calibration is documented and maintained.
- Assemble and build samples using 3D printing and machining for rapid prototyping.
- Conduct development, testing, and inspection activities to aid engineering projects.
- Verify and validate new product designs for manufacturing feasibility.
- Facilitate the introduction of new products into full production.

Essential:
- Engineering qualification or experience in a similar technical role.
- Proven hands-on experience in prototype assembly and testing.
- Background in cable harnessing and assembly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Willingness to travel abroad as needed.

- Familiarity with rapid prototyping techniques, including 3D printing and machining.
- Experience with new product introduction.
- Knowledge of various manufacturing processes.
