As the Civil Engineer, you will be joining a consultancy committed to quality and sustainability, which drives their projects across Scotland and beyond.
They are currently seeking a talented Civil Engineer with expertise in bridge design to join the dynamic and well established team in Glasgow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze bridge structures, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies.
- Prepare detailed design calculations, reports, and presentations for clients.
- Oversee project delivery, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional development.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Chartered or working towards Chartered Engineer status (ICE or equivalent).
- Proven experience in bridge design and construction.
- Proficient in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
