Electrical Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician Location: Livingston Salary: £36,937.32 and after 12 weeks probation going up to £37,700.32 Working Hours: 37hrs per week Monday to Thursday 6am to 2pm, Friday 6am to 12.20pm Monday to Thursday 2pmto 10pm, Friday 12.20pm to 6.10pm Monday Thursday 10pm to 6am and Friday 6:40pm to 1am Responsibilities As part of a skilled team, this role involves working to both planned and reactive maintenance schedules within the plant. Repairing and maintaining forging presses, furnaces and machine tools. Electrical installations and PAT testing. The successful candidate will join a team responsible for all elements of electrical plant maintenance Experience Applicants must be self-motivated and have the ability to manage a varied and demanding workload. You must have a proven track record of fault finding with the ability to read technical drawings. Be able to work at heights and in enclosed spaces. Have basic IT skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Prior industry experience in electrical maintenance covering medium voltage distribution systems, equipment breakdowns, trouble shooting, and working with inspection and maintenance programs to meet statutory requirements is essential.
