TheRole: We have an excitingopportunity for an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer - withElectrical Bias to join the friendly team at our Ashby sitewhich is home to iconic KP brands such as Hula Hoops, Skips, NikNaks and Space Raiders. You’ll be anintegral member of the Engineering function providing acomprehensive electrical, mechanical and maintenance engineeringservice to safely sustain and improve production operatingefficiencies in line with the continued growth of thebusiness. As a Multi- Skilled Engineer yourresponsibilities will include:Repairing and maintaining production andancillary equipment, property and facilities ensuring downtime iskept to a minimum and in line with the requirements of theproduction process and planCreating PPMschedules, maintaining accurate maintenance records and completingdata entry records within appropriatetimescalesActing as host for Contractorsworking on site ensuring that all necessary documentation isavailable and completed and that safe working practices are agreedprior to commencement of workResponding torequests from production and Maintenance Leads for engineeringassistance, monitoring visual management boards to ensure priorityitems are dealt withWorking with theproduction teams to improve their capability and knowledge of theequipmentAbility to quickly identify problems,perform root cause analysis to stop repeatfailuresFollowing policies and procedures inconjunction with the food quality management system andretailer-specific technical standardsPlayingan active part in food safety and health and safety, identifyinghazards and risks, and ensuring all health and safety proceduresand safe working practices are alwaysfollowed #LI-RN1#ONSITE We aim to foster adiverse family-like culture where everyone can be themselves andfeel a sense of belonging.
