Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer Location: Tamworth Salary: Competitive Job Type: Full-time We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our building, mechanical equipment, and utility systems. Key Responsibilities: Organise routine servicing schedules across the business. Check and calibrate conveyor systems, including sensor alignment, automatic weighing machines, and barcode readers Perform preventive maintenance on building and mechanical equipment, including inspecting belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, and greasing bearings. Fit replacement electric motors and control units on conveyor systems. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and troubleshoot issues. Fix faults or coordinate arrangements for replacements as needed. Complete daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checklists, and maintain records of scheduled procedures. Manage your workload to ensure timely closure of all tasks. Maintain and repair all building structures. Communicate progress on equipment breakdowns to production managers. Qualifications: Proven experience in maintenance engineering or a related field. knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Proficient in performing routine checks and diagnosing machinery faults. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
