Civil Design Engineer

A great opportunity to join a global Design Engineering consultancy immersed in the UK Water sector for over 100 years. Our client is recruiting for multiple Civil Design Engineers to provide technical input to their affiliated delivery contractor and the project team working on behalf of South West Water. As Civil Design Engineer you will play a vital role in our clients quest for engineering excellence. Our client is recruiting for Design Engineers at all levels, from entry-level to senior engineers. As Civil Design Engineer you will: * Produce designs, calculations and specifications, liaising directly with CAD technicians to enable production of either 3D models or 2D drawings. * Join a multi-discipline design team, producing designs within set time frames, to budget and to required standards. * Drive excellence in Health and Safety in design by eliminating hazards and reducing risks whilst complying with CDM procedures. * Progress projects from feasibility stage through detailed design to construction. * Undertake site visits to assess the current condition of our assets for feasibility studies, reports and provide survey data for integration of the asset into our design solution. * Provide support to update existing, and increase the number of, Standard Products that are used within our design solutions on a repeatable basis. * Identify and promote opportunities to meet the project digital, sustainability, innovation and people objectives. Our client requires Civil Design Engineers with: * HNC/HND/Degree in an engineering related discipline or demonstrable level of experience in Civil Engineering * Experience working in a multi-disciplinary design environment * Experience of undertaking the design of various structures in the Water and Waste Water sector Salary and benefits include: * £30,000 - £67,000 per annum. * Agile/Hybrid working * Attractive benefits package including Life Assurance and option to purchase additional annual leave If you would like more information, or to apply for this vacancy, please contact Kelly Evans on (phone number removed).
