The successful applicant will be responsible for a team of four Commissioning Engineers, so previous management, supervisory or team leading experience is essential, in addition to a strong technical background in Electrical Engineering (PLCs, Control Systems, Commissioning etc.). If you meet the person spec below, please apply now for an immediate response The Job you will do: * Coordination of field-based Installation & Commissioning activities. * Coordinate third party resources during the I&C phase ensuring skill levels match the requirements of the task in hand. * Development and implementation of commissioning procedures and best practices. * Develop and implement processes to streamline the I&C phase of projects. * Develop, implement, and improve commissioning documentation. * Assist and coordinate with management to improve I&C lead times. * Prepare RAMS for site based I&C activities. * Undertake site surveys. * Support customers in resolving any issues that arise through the I&C phase of the projects. * Work closely with the I&C Engineers to ensure that field challenges faced are documented and feedback provided to engineering. * Understand the PLC programs used in company systems to help troubleshoot any issues that arise * Provide support to the Regional Aftermarket Lead and Proposals team when preparing bids for I&C * Build and establish good work relationship with customers to facilitate improved customer retention. * Ensure compliance with all general and company policies when carrying out job duties. * Be involved with any possible ‘lessons learned’ review from any failed bids. About you: * Knowledge of PLC software (Siemens preferred but not exclusive) * Experience of leading or managing a team * Communication skills, including the ability to explain clearly, listen to the feedback of clients – and relay this to colleagues. * Team working skills. * Be computer literate and able to use a wide range of software. * Take reasonable care of the health and safety of themselves and of others who may be affected by what they do or do not do. * Cooperate with the employer on health and safety matters
