Data Engineer

Data Engineer Location: London Salary: Up to £85,000 Work Type: Full Time - Hybrid (2 days in office) La Fosse is excited to partner with a leading global reinsurance provider in their search for a Data Engineer. This role is integral to supporting the company's growth and the optimization of their data infrastructure. The role offers the opportunity to help drive transformation in the data ecosystem, ensuring efficient data warehousing and provisioning processes. Key Responsibilities: Data Warehousing & Provisioning: Lead efforts to provision and manage data warehouses effectively, with a strong understanding of resource and cost modelling. Data Transformation: Work extensively with Snowflake and Matillion, using dbt to maintain and enhance the transformation layer. CI/CD Implementation: While not a DevOps role, the candidate will be expected to have familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines to support automation and continuous delivery processes. Core Technical Skills: Snowflake: Minimum 2 years experience working with Snowflake as the primary data platform. Matillion & dbt: Experience with these tools for data transformation. Azure DevOps: Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, necessary for streamlining deployment processes.
