About The Role As a Technical Lead, you'll be a pivotal player in the next stage of this companies growth. Youll be a technical lead overseeing the design, testing and delivery of key new products, working with Product Managers, Architects, UX Designers and Software Engineers. Youll need to have been hands-on in software development in the past, and still willing to be close to the code as strong skills in Java are required to get to grips with the product and its codebase. Occasional team leadership is required. Key Responsibilities Leading a small cross-functional team of testers, developers and UXers Overseeing the design and development of new products, and software features Contributing software development, testing and design know-how across the software development life-cycle Ensuring projects are well estimated and tracked Implementing testing and coding best practise Working with customers This would suit a Senior Developer looking to make the step to Lead, or a Lead Developer looking to move into a role in one of the most secure and safe sectors in global tech. Essential Skills and Experience Background or current experience in Java Passion for de-bugging and testing Background in working on complex projects Experience in leading technical teams to deliver projects and products Experience in Linux Experience with DevOps and CI/CD Personal Attributes A strong team player who can also lead Strong verbal and written communication skills. Diligent, creative, and detail-oriented. Passionate about contributing to business success and shaping company culture.
