You'll collaborate closely with the Workshop team to ensure efficient and effective support for all farming processes. Conduct routine servicing of vehicles and equipment. Replace essential fluids and lubricants. Ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date. Complete end-of-season overhauls and repairs on various agricultural machinery. Assist in building new machines and replacing parts within the workshop environment. Use hydraulic, pneumatic, and low-voltage electronic systems to diagnose machinery faults. Ensure timely and effective repairs to minimise downtime. Respond to emergency breakdowns and carry out field-based repairs as required. Support Workshop colleagues with various projects and developments both in the workshop and in the field. Ensure all tasks under the guidance of the Workshop Manager are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations within the workshop and on-site. Requirements: Experience and knowledge in agricultural machine maintenance Strong ability in fault diagnosis and repairs Familiarity with pneumatics and hydraulics Strong awareness of Health & Safety regulations Flexible approach to working hours and environments Relevant mechanical engineering qualifications (Level 3 or equivalent) Experience with low voltage electronics, TIG/MIG welding, and JCB telescopic drivers Proficiency in MS Office and ability to manage documentation efficiently Skills in safe use of oxy-fuels and abrasive wheels TPBN1_UKTJ
