Proposals Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse tender documents, project specifications, drawings, and technical requirements to determine the scope of work.
• Prepare, review, and submit detailed bids and proposals that meet client needs and company objectives.
• Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, estimating, etc.) to gather required information for proposal development.
• Ensure all proposals are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and align with the company capabilities.
• Liaise with clients to clarify requirements, specifications, and expectations to ensure a thorough understanding of the project scope.
• Attend Mid-bid meetings, site visits, and Post Bid meetings as required.
• Present proposals to clients and assist in addressing technical queries.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and technical information for proposals.
• Collaborate with the bid team to develop strategies for winning new projects, including value engineering and innovative solutions.
• Be aware of company best practice and innovation within bids across the business stream.
• Prepare and present methodology and sequence proposal at Tender Settlement meetings.
• Identify opportunity and risk during tender process.
• Prepare handover packs for newly secured work.
