Quality Engineer

A global leader in advanced speciality materials and complex components is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team. Role Overview: The Quality Engineer will support the Quality Manager in maintaining high customer satisfaction and ensuring compliance with international and industry standards. Key responsibilities include: Assisting in the retention of key quality approvals (e.g., ISO9001, AS9100, AS9120) Acting as the primary contact for quality standards, including regulatory and customer-specific requirements Supporting audit teams to ensure compliance Authorising product releases within Europe Overseeing supply chain compliance processes Participating in the MRB process for product rejections in Europe Managing customer complaints and ensuring timely root cause corrective actions Validating new product introduction (NPI) processes for compliance with standards Ensuring training and competency plans for operational teams meet necessary standardsQualifications: Associate's degree in quality, business/marketing, or engineering Knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100, AS9120 Experience liaising with certification bodies for audits Ideally, a degree in a technical engineering field Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role Membership/accreditation from a professional body is highly desirable Experience in aerospace or a similar industry is advantageous
