Engineering Manager: Connect (IT Development) Role Overview The Engineering Manager will oversee our Connect product engineering team, driving technical excellence, product delivery, and team development. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a solid technical background. You will leverage your technical skills to support the team’s day-to-day product deliveries and provide solutions to help us scale and evolve. This role is crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of our Connect product while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Leadership and management of a team of engineers, including one-to-one meetings, performance reviews and career development Continuous improvement of development procedures with a focus on implementing industry best practice and fostering a culture of innovation Technical oversight of our Connect application and support for engineers in technical decision making Ensuring effective communication with key stakeholders in product, customer success, security and other engineering teams Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field or relevant industry experience Proven experience as a technical leader and/or Engineering Manager in a development team Strong technical background with expertise in backend and/or frontend technologies Excellent leadership and team management skills Demonstrated experience in delivering complex projects on time Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make informed decisions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Familiarity with Typescript, NodeJS, React and AWS is a plus
