Trainee IT Field Engineer

Have you recently completed an IT degree/qualification and looking for your first career within the IT industry? We are currently recruiting for a Trainee IT Installation Engineer. The position will involve undertaking IT & EPoS (Electronic Point of Sale) installation, upgrades, configuration and customer training to retail and hospitality customers UK wide. You will need a full UK driving licence. Package: £24000 rising to £27000 after 12 months Company carDetails of the role: Carrying out IT Hardware & EPoS installation, upgrades and configuration Field based role, going to multiple retailers and hospitality establishments Providing customer training on how to use the point of sale systems Providing technical support from the office when not out in the field Some field based support required when problem cannot be resolved over the phone / remote services Frequent stays away from home will be applicable when working further afield Requirements: Candidate will have a relevant IT certification or qualification Full UK driving licence Full training will be provided on Epos systems The training for this position is 4-6 weeks, it will be all expensed in Ireland but will involve being away from home Working hours: Working Monday - Friday daytime work (8am - 5pm)
