Job Requirements / Description
Key Responsibilities: Designing highway drainage systems in accordance with DMRB for ETE project work Conducting and reviewing designs for LLFA/S278/S38/S106 projects Developing foul and surface water drainage solutions in line with Building Regulations and Sewers for Adoption standards Specialist design of small packaged sewage treatment plants, drainage fields, mounds, and outfalls Engaging in flood modelling, specifically pluvial and fluvial Preparing technical documentation and writing contracts in SHW (Highways England) and/or NBS formats Utilising AutoCAD, Civils 3D, or Causeway Live/PDS for design work Applying highway design principles using Manual for Streets and DMRB Job Requirements: Extensive experience in drainage engineering Proficiency in highway drainage design to DMRB standards Experience with LLFA/S278/S38/S106 design and checks Strong understanding of foul and surface water drainage design Desirable skills in designing small sewage treatment plants and drainage fields Experience in flood modelling (Pluvial/Fluvial) Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civils 3D, or Causeway Live/PDS Experience in writing contracts in SHW or NBS formats Desirable highway design skills in use of Manual for Streets/DMRB If you are a proficient and motivated Drainage Engineer with significant expertise looking to contribute to a variety of challenging projects, we would love to hear from you.
