Messaging Engineer - SC Cleared Salary Range: £55k - £60k Location: Stevenage Work pattern: Hybrid (3 days on site / 2 days at home) Job Summary: A global, blue chip IT consultancy are seeking an experienced Messaging Engineer to join their team. As a Messaging Engineer, you will be responsible for administering Microsoft Exchange, Skype for Business, and Blackberry Enterprise Server. You will also be working on incident and problem management, security and compliance, and capacity management reporting. Key Responsibilities: * Administer Microsoft Exchange, Skype for Business, and Blackberry Enterprise Server * Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to messaging and collaboration tools * Implement and enforce security policies and controls for messaging platforms * Monitor and optimize Exchange server performance and security * Collaborate with other IT teams and vendors to resolve complex technical problems Requirements: * Proven experience in administering Microsoft Exchange (2013/2016/2019) and Skype for Business * Familiarity with Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) administration * Strong understanding of email protocols, such as SMTP, IMAP, and POP * Experience with email archiving solutions and compliance requirements * Knowledge of Active Directory integration with messaging systems * Knowledge of VMware (to the extent of working with VM Payloads) with NetApp SAN and Cohesity backups What's on Offer: * Competitive salary and benefits package * 25 days annual leave plus public holidays * Pension scheme with double matching contributions * Life assurance * Companywide incentive plans * Flexible working hours and remote work options * Opportunities for professional development and growth Messaging Engineer - SC Cleared
