Job Requirements / Description
You will lead the forward programme of works, ensuring the highway structure assets are properly maintained and efficient. Key Responsibilities: Developing and implementing maintenance strategies and policies for all highway structures Leading the forward programme of works to ensure maintenance of highway structure assets Overseeing inspections, assessments, and monitoring of structural and bridge assets Coordinating with internal teams and external contractors to ensure timely and effective project delivery Providing technical guidance and support on structural matters Preparing detailed reports and documentation related to structural integrity and maintenance plans Managing budgets and resources for maintenance projects Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards Job Requirements: Experience in structural engineering, specifically with highway structures and bridges Strong understanding of structural design principles and maintenance strategies Proficiency in using relevant structural analysis and design software Excellent project management and organisational skills Strong communication and leadership abilities Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification If you are an experienced Structural Engineer with a focus on highway structures and bridges, this role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the maintenance and development of critical infrastructure
