Sales Engineer

Position: Sales Engineer Location: Leicester Rate/Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 Type: Perm We are looking for Sales Engineer / Account Manager / Technical Sales Engineer to join a renowned manufacturer of specialised casting solutions serving global clients across various industries. such as automotive, rail, maritime, valves & pumps. As a Sales Engineer / Account Manager / Technical Sales Engineer, you will be need to be based in or around Leicester. Candidates should possess a background in mechanical engineering sales. With experience selling mechanical products, equipment, or components. Alternatively, those with a sales background and a mechanical engineering qualification as product training will be provided.. Duties and responsibilities of the Sales Engineer / Account Manager / Technical Sales Engineer : • Prepare precise and detailed quotations • Use practical experience to source parts and materials while obtaining quotes from suppliers • Follow up on quotations to gather feedback and ensure customer satisfaction • interpret technical drawings and understand Bills of Material • Visit new and existing customers within the UK and internationally • Represent the brand at exhibitions and conferences in the UK and internationally • Provide expert technical advice and support to clients Qualifications and requirement for the Sales Engineer / Account Manager / Technical Sales Engineer: • Technical Engineering qualification at HND level is preferred. • Proven experience in preparing quotes, including sourcing parts and materials. • Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and comprehend BOMs. • Understanding of CRM systems. • A team player with strong presentation abilities and effective communication skills with customers and suppliers. • Hold A full UK drivers License & a valid UK Passport • Must be able to travel to Leicester for work This vacancy is being advertised by HSB Technical who have been appointed to act as the recruitment consultancy for this role
