Principal Engineer

Our newest client is a growing multidisciplinary engineering consultancy specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health design, including services like CFD simulation, electrical network analysis, and REVIT BIM. They operate across sectors, with a focus on Mission Critical Data Centres in the UK, Europe, and the Middle East. They are seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead projects from concept to construction. Reporting to the Director, you’ll oversee electrical design, manage client relationships, and ensure quality standards. This role requires collaboration with internal and external teams, UK and international travel, and expert technical guidance. Key Responsibilities: * Lead electrical design and project delivery. * Manage resources, budgets, and timelines. * Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors. * Provide technical expertise and mentor junior staff. * Ensure compliance with industry and safety standards. Requirements: * Chartered Engineer (or working towards it) with 8+ years' experience. * Expertise in data centres and building services. * Strong leadership, project management, and client relationship skills. Salary: £70,000 to £78,000, depending on experience
