As a Project Engineer/SAP, you will be an integral part of our Capital Programme - Investment Delivery team, working within the EPN (Eastern) region. You will play a crucial role in delivering engineering activities and construction projects related to UK Power Networks' assets and infrastructure. This permanent position offers a competitive salary of £76,229 plus a car and a bonus of 3% Within the role you will be responsible for delivering engineering activities within your allocated project team, including construction requirements related to UK Power Networks' assets and infrastructure. You will work closely with Programme Managers, Project Managers, Commissioning Engineers, Alliance Partners, Contractors, and other members of the Investment Delivery Management team to ensure the successful delivery of capital works construction projects, APP, and Connections. Your role will involve managing budgets, ensuring compliance with CDM and UK Power Networks Health and Safety policies, testing and commissioning HV Distribution Systems, performing fault investigations and repairs, and overseeing all contractors and staff working on site. Additionally, you will collaborate with team members to maintain safety management throughout all activities and operate and update the Asset Database in respect of project activities.
