Site Engineer - Nights

Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage night-time operations on-site, ensuring work is carried out according to plans, specifications, and safety standards. Conduct daily site inspections and record measurements, ensuring accurate data collection and reporting. Collaborate with the project manager and other engineers to resolve technical issues. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly those unique to night working conditions. Maintain accurate site documentation, including work permits, risk assessments, and safety reports. Oversee subcontractors and ensure quality control of materials and workmanship. Assist in the preparation and implementation of work schedules, ensuring tasks are completed on time.Skills & Qualifications: Degree or HND in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Experience working on highways or large infrastructure projects is highly desirable. Solid understanding of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and quality management systems. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Ability to work independently during night shifts, with excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Familiarity with AutoCAD, GPS, and other engineering software is an advantage.
