Mobile Agricultural Engineer - East of England Salary £16 - £17 Per Hour Vehicle, Fuel Card, Overtime and More Alecto Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Agricultural Engineer based in the Norfolk area to cover the East of England Our client is seeking an experienced Agricultural Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of agricultural machinery, as well as providing technical support to customers. On Offer: £16 - £17 Per Hour on a 37.5 hour week Vehicle and Fuel Card High amount of overtime offered Ongoing bonuses and benefits Advancement opportunities within the company A supportive and inclusive work environment Providing ongoing training and development opportunitiesRequirements: Land Base or equivalent qualification in Agricultural Engineering or a related field. Experience in agricultural machinery maintenance and repair. Experience with a range of agricultural equipment, including tractors, combines, and balers. Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Good communication skills and the ability to provide clear technical instructions to customers. A valid driver's license.Responsibilities: Install and commission new agricultural machinery, ensuring that it is operating efficiently and safely. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing machinery, identifying and diagnosing any faults or problems. Respond to customer queries and provide technical support both on-site and remotely. Keep up-to-date with developments in agricultural technology and advise customers on upgrades or new equipment. Manage and maintain the necessary tools, equipment, and stock required for carrying out maintenance and repairs.
