Maintenance Engineer

Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer with the experience and drive to succeed in a major steel processing company based in the heart of West Bromwich? If yes, we want to hear from you! Annual Salary: £42,000 to £46,000  Weekly Shifts: Mon to Thurs - 6am - 4pm / 8pm - 6am - 40 hours a week The role: You will be tasked to carry out preventative maintenance tasks as well as be reactive with regard plant breakdowns and repairs. All actions need to be carried out in a safe and professional manor, reporting to supervisors and filling out daily shift reports and other necessary paperwork. General Scope of work: Work on hydraulic and pneumatic systems Proficient at using hand tools and machinery Fault finding and machine maintenance Responsible for PPM General Welding and Fabrication Oxygen/acetylene burning Bench fitting Read from engineering drawings Forklift/cherry picker/OHC operation Experience/Qualifications Required: Completed Apprenticeship/time served would be preferred.
