Multi Skilled Engineer Are you a versatile Multi Skilled Engineer with expertise in both cable jointing and electrical installations? Our client, a leading Independent Connection Provider specialising in private networks including renewable energy, commercial, and industrial projects, is seeking a talented individual to join their dynamic new projects teams. In this role, you'll focus on high-voltage (HV) electrical connections up to 11kv, Installing various HV equipment within a substation, and utilising your combined skills as a cable jointer and electrician. Based in the Midlands or the Southeast, you'll be at the forefront of exciting projects in these regions, with opportunities for travel and staying away from home as projects demand. The responsibilities of a Multi Skilled Engineer: * Install and termination of Electrical Infrastructure as instructed up to 33kv networks carrying out jointing, and cabling on pre-planned works * Ensuring that all work is undertaken to a high standard of safety and technical quality by following all appropriate generic and specific method statements, work procedures, and safety instructions * Accept delivery of plant and materials * Ensure vehicles and equipment remain in good condition * Record accurately details of work undertaken * Identify and understand utility plans * Manual Handling * Reporting to the Project Manager Essential Requirements: * Fully qualified cable jointer or HV Technician * HV experience up to 11kv. 33kv would be desirable * Competent in installation / new infrastructure projects * Full UK Drivers Licence * General substation installation work, cable installation experience * CSCS / SHEA Power What this is offering: * Paying between £17.00-£20.00 per hour * Monday to Friday 40 hrs per week plus overtime/travelling - a typical working week is 50-55 hours * 25 days holiday + BH * Company vehicle and fuel card * Accommodation & expenses covered * Door to Door pay * Overtime is available at x1.5 and x2.0 on Sundays and Bank Holidays * Death in service cover * Private Medical If you are interested, please click to apply with your most up-to-date CV and if you have any questions, please contact Harry Medway
