Role & Responsibilities: Engage in every stage of the product lifecycle, from defining specifications to early models and final production. Break down system-level needs into specific technical requirements and system designs, converting these into FPGA-based solutions. Create and implement FPGA systems, with coding in languages like VHDL or Verilog, for applications such as signal handling, data collection, and control mechanisms. Develop and apply communication methods (e.g., Ethernet, PCI, USB, UART, SPI, I2C) for linking with external devices and systems.Knowledge, Skills & Experience: 5+ years of direct experience with the design and debugging of digital and analogue hardware interfaces. A degree in electrical engineering, computer science, engineering or similar disciplines. Knowledge of design and verification tools such as Xilinx Vivado, Vitis, System Verilog and UVM. Experience with standard FPGA and SoC architectures. Familiarity with C/C++ or similar for the development of embedded software. Experience with QuestaSim or ModelSim.
