Geo Environmental Engineer

Our client, a successful engineering consultancy, focuses primarily on the residential development sector and provides a range of services including Site Appraisals, Infrastructure Engineering, Flood Risk Assessment, Sustainable Drainage, Topographical Surveys, Structural Engineering, Geo-Environmental Engineering, Site Investigations and Project Management. Geo-Environmental Engineer They are currently recruiting for a Geo-Environmental Engineer to join their Geo-Environmental team in the Halesowen Office. Your duties will include: • Desk studies • Site investigations • Interpretation of chemical and geotechnical data • Supervision of site works • Preparation of conceptual site models and contamination risk assessments • Site remediation • Writing technical and interpretative reports For this role you will be required to demonstrate the following: • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written • IT literate • Ability to interact with a wide range of people including clients, contractors and other consultants • Be able to work effectively as part of a team • A Degree in geology or similar earth science discipline or a degree in environmental science • Minimum 2 years’ experience with a Geo-Environmental Consultancy • Drive and ambition to learn • A full UK driving licence is required
