We’re assembling a talented team to build a leading platform for runners, helping everyday individuals reach new heights in their running journeys. Our mission is to provide top-tier training, coaching, and community, whether users are working on their 5k times or gearing up for their first marathon. We've already developed iOS, Android, and Apple Watch apps that guide users through their fitness goals, syncing seamlessly with their favourite devices. After a successful £5M funding round in 2023, we’re expanding rapidly and looking for passionate individuals to help shape our future. Our goal is to grow even further and reach millions of subscribers over the next five years, becoming the go-to platform for any runner. Who We're Looking For We are searching for a skilled Software Engineer with full-stack expertise and a growth-driven mindset. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in driving user acquisition, retention, and engagement strategies by working closely with our Growth, CRM, Design, and Tech teams. Your work will directly shape the future of the platform, with plenty of support along the way. Your Responsibilities Will Include: Designing, testing, and optimizing A/B experiments across the app to improve user acquisition and retention. Contributing throughout the product development lifecycle, from feature conception to completion. Implementing tracking and analytics tools to measure the success of growth initiatives. Analyzing user data and feedback to identify opportunities for growth and product improvements. Managing in-app events and maintaining user segments in tools like Mixpanel and Intercom. Collaborating with the CRM manager to implement custom messaging, such as workout reminders. What We're Looking For While the following skills are ideal, don’t hesitate to apply if you don't meet every requirement—we're flexible and may adjust the role based on your strengths. Key Skills: Strong experience with TypeScript/JavaScript Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative development environment 2 years of experience in your main area of expertise (Frontend, Backend, etc.) Comfortable learning new technologies and working outside your comfort zone Skilled in delivering end-to-end features, from design to release and support Passion for iterative development, continuous deployment, and test automation Collaborative work environment, including pair programming and shared code ownership Bonus Points If You Have: Experience working on a growth team Full-stack development experience Expertise in A/B testing Familiarity with Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar tools Knowledge of CI/CD, deployment cycles Experience with React/React Native Knowledge of serverless architectures, AWS Open source contribution experience A strong interest in health and fitness technology Our Tech Stack Frontend: React Native (iOS & Android) TypeScript GraphQL (Apollo Client) SwiftUI (Apple Watch) Backend: Serverless (AWS) NodeJS & Python DynamoDB, S3, SQS, SNS, EventBridge Postman API tests Other Tools: Sentry, GitHub Actions, Intercom, Mixpanel, RevenueCat Figma Benefits We offer a competitive salary ranging from £60,000 to £100,000 (depending on experience), with equity options.
