Job Title -Electrical Design Engineer(Building Services)
Site location -Bristol
Responsible to -Project Manager
Client brief -Our client is a well-establishedleading engineering and environmental consultancy in Building Services with offices throughout the UK and around the globe.Their welcoming and diverse team is working on some of the most prestigious and innovative projects in Manchester, across the UK and around the world. Contract -Permanent
Salary -£35,000 -£50,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Holidays -26 days + Bank Holidays rising to 31 days with loyalty days + BH
Hybrid Yes, Possible hybrid working of 3 days in the office 2 days at home

To fulfil this role, you will need to be degree qualified and able to demonstrate suitable design experience in the building services sector (preferably across a variety of sectors) and be an effective communicator, both verbally and in the production of reports and specifications.
Key requirements
You will have experience in using recognised design software tools such as REVITT and ideally have exposure to MagiCAD
Have great communication skills that can adapt both to external parties and clients but also within the team
Understand project needs and be able to manage the full delivery
You will have recognised qualifications in Electrical services design and either be working towards Chartered Status, or have an interest in doing so
Be able to work both autonomously and as part of a team in support to deliver projects
Experience of people management is desirable
Future flexibility will be needed for regular co-operation, travel and inter-office working
In house expertise for Electrical enquiries
Our client produces its projects in the 3D environment and are rolling out StabiCAD design tool across all offices. While a detailed knowledge of this software is not essential (training will be provided) an awareness of working in a 3D environment is, as is a knowledge of cable sizing and lighting design software.
