Structural Engineer

Job Title: Structural Engineer Location: England, East of England, Essex Job Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Engineering Salary: £42,000 - £55,000 Per annum Responsibilities: Produce practical and cost-effective structural designs in timber, concrete, masonry, and steel Undertake analysis and design using a range of software packages Required Qualifications: A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Working towards being Chartered or already Chartered with the Institution of Structural Engineers Experience: Minimum of five years' experience as a Structural Engineer Experienced in a range of common building materials including concrete, steel, masonry, and timber Excellent communication skills Experience with relevant software packages Preferred Qualifications: Professional accreditation or membership with relevant engineering bodies Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of structural engineering principles Ability to work effectively in a team environment Good project management skills Working Conditions: This consultancy provides engineering services to both private and public sector clients Specialises in multi-disciplinary design projects ranging in value from under £1 million to over £150 million Client-focused, high-quality engineering solutions Emphasis on practical, efficient designs
