If you have a passion for facility maintenance in a high-performance environment, this role is perfect for you Key Responsibilities for the Facilities Maintenance Engineer Role: Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on key systems including BMS, HVAC, pneumatics, mechanical systems, fire suppression, and electrical infrastructure to ensure seamless facility operations. Troubleshoot and perform first-line repairs on a variety of facility-based equipment and infrastructure, maintaining the reliability of high-tech systems such as autoclaves, CNC machines, lathes, routers, and power systems. Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies including power outages, leaks, or critical system failures, ensuring minimal downtime and operational continuity. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and equipment inventories to ensure full compliance with safety and operational standards. Diagnose and resolve facility-related technical issues in a fast-paced, high-performance environment, implementing permanent corrective actions where needed. Collaborate closely with internal teams and departments to ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all facility systems. Manage and monitor spare parts inventories, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), and PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) systems, working within facility maintenance budgets. Provide day shift support with flexibility for occasional weekend work, particularly for key events or facility upgrades. Skills, Knowledge, and Behaviours Required for the Facilities Maintenance Engineer Role: Strong knowledge of facility systems such as BMS, HVAC, and mechanical systems, with experience in a high-performance, technical environment. Proven ability to troubleshoot and maintain infrastructure within a fast-paced or high-tech industry, such as motorsport or manufacturing. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise urgent repairs. Ability to interpret technical manuals and apply practical solutions in real-time problem-solving scenarios. Strong communication skills, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external vendors. Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to work independently or as part of a high-functioning team. What’s in it for you?
