Test Engineer

Are you an experienced Test Technician looking to join a world leader in Appliance, Electrical and Electronic Manufacturing? Our client design and manufacture high-reliability CONNECTIVITY, POWER and CONTROL solutions for aerospace, defense, space, and industrial applications. The ideal candidate will have the ability to test, and fault find all units made by Production or returned by customers, to specification set by the engineers.   Test Engineer   Permanent £25,000-£35,000 Monday-Thursday 08:00-16:45 Friday 08:00-12:30 Ryde   Test Engineer Job Description Test units from production to ensure they meet specification. Fault finding on units that have failed to component level. Maintain records for tracking units tested. Assists Production staff to help repair units which have failed test and send units to QA. Arrange for outside testing as required. Progress chases units through Production to meet required delivery dates. Liaises with design of product and test specification changes. Give technical support to junior team members and ensure test equipment is within calibration.  Test Engineer Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications Electronics C&G Parts 1/2 No. 224 or ONC Electronic Engineering. Experience within a similar role/industry. Proven ability to test and fault find to component level.
