Sr Advanced Project Engineer We have an opportunity for a Sr Advanced Project Engineer to join us at Honeywell in Leicester UK. You will be responsible for Leading the Electrical & Instrumentation part of the projects. The Electrical & Instrumentation engineer is responsible for the discipline-related engineering awarded to the company, ensuring compliance with the contractual specifications as well as the applicable codes & standards. The Electronics & Instrumentation Engineer manages assigned work and ensures compliance with applicable codes & standards and adherence to QMS. High focus On Time Delivery, First Time Right and customer satisfaction. An in-depth understanding of the UK standards is a must. Committed to project compliance and adhering Safety-First culture. Well-versed with all functions required for delivering projects and solutions, well acquainted with sourcing, design & engineering and related production aspects. Strongly focused on Biogas and Renewable, supporting the HON Breakthrough Initiative on Net Zero We offer end-to-end project management that includes all steps from concept engineering, and construction to commissioning and lifecycle services. Key Responsibilities * Acts as technical interface with customers establishes professional relationships to ensure that the project requirements are fully defined and agreed upon. Participate in progressive project review meetings with clients and ensure to understanding of the customer requirements and customer expectations on project deliverables. * Influencing the conceptual design for the basic engineering (P&ID, System Architecture, Layout, FDS, …), Design Verification, Design & specification of electrical cabinets, systems and electrical equipment. Check and approve engineering documents, i.e. P&ID, wiring diagrams, commissioning manual, and production procedures. * Ensures that the engineered solution meets project requirements in terms of functionality, standards, quality, and supporting documentation and implementation process at minimum cost by allocating work assignments to the project team fully utilizing standard builds & standardized work. Monitor and control assigned work scope against the project plan, ensure effective change control and identify risks/opportunities. * Delivery of project engineering, meeting all specification requirements, on an agreed schedule, ensuring documentation compliances and on-time delivery of project, Support PM on the project plan, schedule, tracking budgets allocated, Troubleshooting Must-Have Skills * Degree in Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronic / or equivalent * Experience in a similar role in the process control industry, in-depth knowledge flow measurement and regulating of gases * Strong knowledge in Primary measuring instruments for gases (Flow Meters), Secondary measuring instruments (PT, TT etc.), Flow Computer (FC), Gas Chromatograph (GC) and Gas Quality measurements, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), SCADA, Flow & Energy Calculation (AGA, ISO standards) Our offer * A culture that fosters inclusion, diversity, and innovation in an international work environment * Market-specific training and ongoing personal development. * Experienced leaders to support your professional development We are an equal-opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
