Geotechnical Engineer Derbyshire £30k-£40k plus car/car allowance If you have 3 years plus experience as a geotechnical engineer within a UK consultancy, please get in touch. We are working with a national client who has an ideal opportunity for candidates with a strong geotechnical background to work with a contractor who delivers bespoke design and build solutions. The roles will see you: Inspecting rock faces, slopes and retaining walls Attending slope stabilisation projects to ensure construction is undertaken in accordance to design Undertaking detailed design of stabilisation solutions Using slope stability software and AutoCAD Preparing quotes, inspection reports and design documentation Whilst you will be based mainly in the office, a lot of your time will be spent undertaking inspections and attending sites; a valid UK driving licence is therefore vital. You will also be required to undertake IRATA rope-access training and inspections. Benefits include generous salary, life assurance and pension.
