Senior Software Engineer - Defence Tech Start-up - ex Palantir, significant funding. A defence-focused deep tech company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead their growing team. The role involves developing cutting-edge software for autonomous systems, and collaborating closely with AI and edge hardware. You’ll design systems to process large datasets and enable human operators to control multiple autonomous platforms in real time. This position offers significant autonomy, allowing you to influence product design from day one. Key Responsibilities: Coding in Rust, Python, C++ & TypeScript Develop software enabling collaboration between autonomous systems and presenting complex data intuitively. Work directly with end users to enhance system capabilities. Ideal Candidate: 5+ years of experience building multi-user systems, with some experience in leadership or mentoring. Strong enterprise-level software design and delivery skills. Interest in defense technology and AI, with a desire to create real-world impact.
