Maintenance Engineer

A fantastic steel firm in the heart of the black country have tasked me with finding a mechanically bias maintenance engineer. My client is well-established and the UKs largest in their sector. My client is looking for a maintenance engineer to be part of a two-man team on a 3-shift rota. You will be tasked with preventative and reactive maintenance work on all plant and equipment. This role will suit someone with a heavy engineering background. Maintenance Engineer Benefits: Salary £36,000 (basic) Fantastic earning potential through OT and shift cover. Hydraulic system work. Pneumatic system work. General welding and fabrication. Keep maintenance logs. Planned and reactive maintenance. Maintenance Engineer Requirements: Engineering apprenticeship. Hydraulics and pneumatics. Steel / Heavy engineering experience. Welding abilities. Bench fitting. Basic electrical knowledge would be advantageous. Local.
