We're recruiting Gas Installs Engineers to join the fantastic Gas Team in our York region primarily but you could be asked to work anywhere across Yorkshire. Youll be focusing on a radiator upgrade programme in our properties in Leeds alongside working on gas installs and servicing works. How much? We pay £39,707.01 per annum for a 37.5-hour week thats £20.36 per hour. Youll get 25 days of paid annual leave (rising annually to 30) plus Bank Holidays. Youll work a 37.5-hour week, and your contracted hours will vary, and could be between 8am-8pm (Mon-Fri, 7.5 hours a day). You may occasionally carry out services on a Saturday morning as part of your contracted hours, and theres the opportunity to work overtime when required. Where? Youll be working predominantly in the York, Leeds or Bradford area. From time to time, you might be asked to travel to other locations across Yorkshire. With who? What youll be doing Youll be responsible for the installations of Gas boilers and heating systems. Joining us on a key project, youll be upgrading radiators across properties in Leeds.Youll also be inspecting, testing and certifying works carried out. Of course, youll be following the manufacturers instructions, in accordance with the Gas Safety (installation and use) Regulations and Yorkshire Housings policies and procedures. Youll be the face of Yorkshire Housing to many of our customers. So, respectful, warm and professional communication is a key part of this role. Youll also work closely with the compliance team in ensuring work is undertaken safely. The stuff that sets you apart This role would suit someone with previous experience installing Gas boilers and heating systems. Youll be able to deal with different priorities and work to deadlines, whilst maintaining high standards of work. Youll hold current ACS Certificates CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1 & CKR1 or equivalent.
