Site Engineer

Abatec has a fantastic opportunity for a Site Engineer to join our client on a major highways project in Surrey on a freelance basis. Our client, a leading, Tier One contractor is delivering work on site and requires a Site Engineer with a background in Civil Engineering and previous experience on highways project. As Site Engineer you will: * Have experience of setting out on Highways schemes * Provide levelling and surveying across the site, checking drawings and quantities and ensuring the accuracy of calculations * Provide as-built surveys on works completed * Be responsible for maintaining QA records and that works are completed in accordance with ITP’s Our client requires a Site Engineer with: * Relevant degree in construction * Previous highways experience * Setting out experience using GPS/EDM * Understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and ITP’s * EUSR training Salary/Benefits: * £450 - £650 – per day PAYE - depending on experience If you would like more information, or to apply for this vacancy, please contact Lloyd Barham on (phone number removed).
