Senior Mechanical Engineer

The Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting an experienced Senior Engineer to join a leading Nuclear client based out of Plymouth. Job Overview: The role will be supporting the project team to deliver the Dockside Rigs and Dock Bottom Village to the required scope, quality, schedule and cost. Responsible for managing the engineering and technical aspects from identification of the need through to handover. The role holder will make sure that the design documentation includes the operational scope requested by the Project Manager and is created to meet the established standards, schedule, and budget. This will also involve making sure that the managed processes and activities are properly documented, with appropriate records kept and configuration and quality controls implemented. What do you need to succeed? Qualifications: The post holder must be able to demonstrate relevant knowledge and sound understanding of engineering practice required in the technical management of complex design development throughout the design lifecycle Sound project specification, planning, project management and budgeting experience to support design, construction / manufacture, acceptance, installation, operation and repair. A degree, degree apprentice or demonstrable time served in an appropriate engineering discipline. Chartered Engineer, registered with Engineering Council (or actively working towards).
