Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading Manufacturing / Service company in their search for an Applications Engineer to work in their leading facility Nr Oswestry (Shropshire) The Position - Applications Engineer For the successful Applications Engineer, our client is offering Salary £38K PA Days position – Monday to Thursday 8.30AM – 5.00PM (30min lunch) Friday 8.30AM – 1.30PM Permanent position 25 days holiday + bank holidays Salary sacrifice pension scheme 5% employer and employee contribution 4 x Death in service Employee Assistance Programme High street discounts, cycle to work, purchase tech scheme Ongoing training and future development The role - Applications Engineer The role will be reporting to the Engineering Manager and will be based in Shropshire with possible national travel. The successful candidates will be expected to perform a wide range of tasks to support the department and wider business, often working together with our team, as well as with 3rd party installers and customers Main Responsibilities of the Applications Engineer: 3D Modelling Finite Element Analysis (FEA) T/win drawings Engineering/ Component drawings Works instructions Technical troubleshooting Conduct sales inquiries and customer visits Supplier / Customer liaison Dealer Support Pricing and cost controller Standards Compliance Advisor What our client is looking for in an Applications Engineer: The successful candidate is a good team player, who is flexible with regards to tasks performed. You should be confident and comfortable interfacing with other departments and stakeholders, as well as being self-motivated and able to operate with minimal supervision.
