HGV/PSV/Light Vehicle Engineer

Job title: Advanced Engineering Mechanic

East London

Salary: Negotiable

Hours: Monday-Thursday 06:00-16:30, 06:00-15:00 on Friday. Overtime available

Days of work: Monday-Friday

Duties:

• Advising the Team Leader of technical issues
• Undertake advanced fault finding and diagnostic testing
• Repair and maintenance of vehicles .
• Contribute to the design, development, manufacture, construction, commissioning, operation or maintenance of products
• Risk assessments
• Undertake general engineering work and fabrication
• Take responsibility for ensuring the safety and roadworthiness of the organisations vehicles, machinery and equipment
• Complete specialist and general welding brazing and soldering

Package:

• Negotiable salary
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime available

Qualifications/experience needed:

• HGV Level 3 Qualified desired
• Hold a full category C or D licence, reasonable adjustments will be considered for disabled candidates
• Hold a IRTEC licence or equivalent
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and environmental standards
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions
