Sales Engineer

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Account Manager to join a leading critical power company based in Northern Ireland. The Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Account Manager that will quoting tenders and securing orders both locally and internationally for the diesel generator market. The Successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Account Manager will ideally come from a technical sales background with experience working within the critical power industry selling Generators, service, UPS systems, LV control panels and associated equipment. Package Up to £40,000 Commission Scheme 6% Company Pension 30 days holiday Responsibilities Include: Liaise with clients, suppliers, sub-contractors, consultants and internal departments to produce accurate and detailed quotations and tender submissions. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, primarily in the critical power industry, selling Generators, service, UPS systems, LV control panels and associated equipment. Read, understand and clarify technical tender documentation, provide competitive engineering concepts for project based enquiries. Attend site visits and briefings to gain an understanding of the clients requirements; Determine price strategies for clients and conduct negotiations to win contracts whilst ensuring the best price is achieved; Assist with projects and after sales Provide sales training both in factory and at customers premises. Process and enter all orders received from customers and Sales Manager; Deal with all incoming phone calls, emails, relating to customers; Maintain and develop existing customer business; Provide customers with technical support and guidance 8:30am 5:00pm (Monday to Thursday) and 8:30am 4:00pm (Friday) Be office based but will cover locally and internationally. Requirements Include: Experience as a Sales Manager, Technical Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Regional Sales Manager, or similar. Experience working within the critical power industry selling Generators, service, UPS systems, LV control panels and associated equipment would beneficial.
