Cnc Turner Setter Operator

An exciting CNC Turner position has become available in Norwich at a precision established engineering company. Job Title: CNC Turner Setter Operator Shift: Day Shift, Monday to Thursday - 8am to 4:30pm and Friday - 8am to 13:30pm Rate: £14 - 16.50 p/h The Job * Setting, and operating machines using proven programs * Carry out inspection of your work (CMM and Manual) * Maintain clean and tidy stations * Produce work of a high standard by adhering to quality standards to ensure that product is produced to agreed specifications. * Training Other members of the Turning section in setting machines. Requirements * Time served / equivalent experience in a precision machining company * Competent in Fanuc controls (ESSENTIAL) * Strong understanding of Fanuc programs with ability to edit, re-run tools * Able to move offsets * Able to prove unproven programs, safely * Competent in inspecting own work using CMMs and gauges to verify product quality * Working to tight tolerances What Next?
