Job Title: Multi-Disciplined Fire & Security Engineer Salary: £35,376 per annum Location: Midlands, South West or London Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Multi-Disciplined Fire & Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the installation, servicing, and commissioning of a wide range of Fire and Security systems. You will be working on both commercial and residential projects, ensuring the highest standards of safety and security for our clients. Key Responsibilities: Install, service, and commission Fire Alarm Systems, CCTV, Intruder Alarms, and Access Control Systems. Plan and execute installation and project work, ensuring timely and efficient completion. Conduct fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on fire and security systems. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including BS5839, BS5266, and other relevant codes of practice. Provide excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and resolving any on-site issues. Complete relevant paperwork and reports following installation or maintenance visits. Work independently and as part of a team to achieve the goals of each project. Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience in installing and maintaining fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems. Knowledge of British Standards relevant to fire and security systems. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills and the ability to liaise with clients and team members effectively. Full UK driving licence is essential. Desired Attributes: A professional and proactive approach to work.
