Permanent full time Would you like to work for a global engineering company who pioneer in the design and manufacture of vertical access solutions in various industries? To apply for this position, you need to have experience working with Building Maintenance Units (BMU) and this role is more field based position covering the Southeast of England. Working as a Service Engineer you will: * Providing technical specification to procurement and supervision of suppliers. * Work from home when not on customer site however must be flexible being called out to various locations. * PLC fault find on Building Maintenance Units * Monitoring and controlling the quality of work; and formalising project closures. To be successful for this Service Engineer position, we’re looking for: * Experience in a similar position ideally being field based and working on customer sites. * Ideally PLC systems experience (modifying existing code or fault finding) * Ability to work with minimal supervision, whilst an effective team player as part of a structured team. * Ideally experience working within on Building Maintenance Units or from offshore / forces background * Must be used to working at heights, general movement of tools and equipment and to provide a fast and efficient service. * Would need to be a good communicator and work have a professional manner. * Would require full UK driving licence. Benefits: Salary £35,000 to £40,000 per annum, pension with company contribution and healthcare scheme. Hours – 40 to 47.5 hours per week door to door - and uplifts when working on site (OTE earning 55k) Overtime – 1.5 for weekdays and double time working Saturday and Sunday. Overtime can be claimed as soon as they work over 9.5 hours in a day. Call out rota – Staying away payments are including, this is very limited though
